What is the difference between Sunni and Shiite?
Answer:
Praise be to Allah.
Generally speaking, Sunnis and Shiites are Muslims. Moderate Sunnis and Shiites believe in the Qur’an, in the Prophet Muhammad, and in all basics of Islam.
Some differences between Sunnis and Shiites are based on political concepts and views.
All in all, every Muslim, irrespective of his sector group, should believe in the basics of Islam and act according to the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah.
