Mission Statement
To be stewards in the collection of food for the effective distribution, free of charge, to people in need in our community while seeking solutions to the causes of hunger.
Food Bank: Established to feed the hungry. Donations can be in the form of monetary and non perishable food items.
Resource Centre: a) Muslim business owners and professionals data base, b) New immigrants support, c) Training programs.
Family Services: a) Family violence & domestic abuse support, b) Culturally sensitive counselling, c) Support groups for sisters, d) Muslim foster children, e) Youth development
Non-perishable food donations may be dropped at:
Islamic Center NW,
SW Masjid (MAC Center),
Akram Jomaa Islamic Center,
Islamic Centre of South Calgary
Donate Money
Monetary donations, which are tax-deductible, are essential for food purchases as required.
